Ok first off another Big thanks to Captian86 for his awesome work with another one of my OC's

First off, Sitara is the younger sister of one of my other heroes Tara (GravaTara). With them being sisters and the complex social norms of Indian women, I hope to make Tara and Sitara's relationship a big part of my comic books interaction.

For those that do not know; in Indian culture Fair (lighter) skin of northern Indian is preferred over the Dark skin tone of southern India. Sitara is the one with the Fair skin tone and Tara has the darker skin tone.

Now Sitara is my Speedster, but her powers operate completely differently than that of the Flash Family's(C) powers and is not in anyway related to the speed force (C). the profile explains it as best i can.

• Name: Sitara
• Age: 16
• Appearance
---o Hair: silky black hair, back length, usually a kept in a ponytail, less commonly a bun
---o Eyes: Green with yellow tinting
---o Height: 5’4”
• Facial features
---o Build, short and petite
---o Race: Indian
---o Unique features: fair Indian tone.
• Clothing
---o Civilian: thin blue jeans, and a t-shirt
---o Hero costume: full body track suit, with extra padding on joints and critical areas: base color black, secondary color yellow, lines and stiches are red. Has another suit with a white base color for artic missions and has extra face covering and thermal insulation.
• Powers
---o Base abilities
------Quantum frequency shifting: Sitara’s powers come from her ability to manipulate her interaction with the Higgs field (the quantum field that gives object mass) while allows her to reduce her mass and convert it to energy. This allows her to act more like a wave of light than a particle.
• Abilities
---o Super speed: Sitara can vary her interaction to the Higgs field to lower her mass to various levels, as Einstein’s theory of relativity tells us the less mass an object has the less energy it takes to make it to make it go faster. And with her mass being converted to energy it creates a positive feedback loop as she speeds up. Normally she can near 10% the speed of light or 67.1 million mph. In her full Power mode she has the ability to lower her mass to 0 and thus move at the speed of light or above the speed of the light. While running she becomes almost a beam of light as her quantum energy frequency shift to a wave like state.
---o Super endurance: Sitara has the stamina above that of a normal human; this allows her to run at speed for long distances of several thousand miles. But it is not unlimited as full normal speed (10% SofL) uses a lot of energy and can only be maintained for >100 miles.
• Immunities
---o Speed and momentum are not lost when Sitara shifts back to normal.
---o Sitara’s mass is also slightly increased when she shifts back to normal, giving her impacts more force.
---o Kinetic force resistance: when coming out of wave-mode her body becomes resistant to kinetic energy so she is not injured when she impacts something, but only about 25% of her kinetic energy is transferred to her target as shifting back to particle form releases most of the energy as light.
• Weaknesses
---o Sitara cannot influence the world while moving at speed, to throw a punch or a kick she has to switch back to normal particle state, in which there is a slight delay between her rematerializing and contact.
---o While in her light-state small item can phase through her, but large stationary objects such as walls she cannot phase through.
• Training
---o She has been trained in Indian fighting style of Mardani khel, which mainly consist of hand-to-hand combat or fighting with Katar daggers.
• Equipment
---o She carries special Katar daggers designed by Blaine two be able to switch between a blunt blade and a sharp edge to vary her lethality with the weapons.
• Background
---o Parents & siblings
----- Mother is the Indian ambassador to the US.
----- Father is a wealthy Indian business man
----- Tara (GravaTara) is her older sister.
---o Early life- All throughout her early years she was babied by her mother and father, because unlike her sister, who was born with darker skin, Sitara was born with fair skin. This caused a divide between her and her sister than continues on various levels from time to time. She came to resent her skin color for that very reason.
• Personality
---o Sitara has a near opposite personality of her sister. She is very serious, blunt, and moody. She likes to say at home and read books, and just generally does not like to interact with people unless necessary. Being a book-worm she has a great wealth of knowledge and loves to explore and experiment with various intellectual ideas, because of this she quickly forms a bond with Blaine as a fellow intellectual, and Sitara respects Blaine for giving her opinions equal standing despite her young age. Sitara has great respect for her older sister even though her sister does not always reciprocate the same feelings back. Sitara has come to resent her skin color because it has because a divide between her and her sister, even though she feels Tara is the more attractive one of two of them. She severely dislikes when her mother and father babies her. She still respects her mother but loathes her father, blaming most the perpetuation of the sisters divide on his lavish spending on Sitara.
